Waterrock Knob is one of those places that proves you don’t need a long or difficult hike to get epic mountain views. It was just a short walk, the right people, and a moment worth remembering.

Afterward, we headed into the mountains for portraits at Waterrock Knob. One of my favorite things about this location is that the hike is short and very manageable, but it still leads you to incredibly stunning views. The 0.6-mile trail quickly opens up to wide, sweeping mountain layers that stretch endlessly across the horizon. It was the perfect spot to slow down, take in the beauty around them, and capture a few unforgettable moments together.
